Denna Haslett is a 500 RYT with the Yoga Alliance. She founded Grounded Soul Yoga in 2016 and opened a studio in 2017, to share her love of wellness with the community. She discovered the benefits of healing through movement when she began her personal journey to wholeness, 25 years ago. This ongoing journey of exploring what it means to have a healthy, mind, body, and spirit inspired her to begin her wellness career as a Group Exercise Instructor at a local YMCA. This led her to broaden her scope of practice in 2013 when she began practicing as a Registered Nurse. She practiced yoga and other modalities of movement to return to herself after long shifts working in the ER, being a wife and being a mom. In 2017, she completed the 200-hour yoga certification at Yoga One studio in Cedarburg, WI. While continuing to develop her personal yoga practice, she discovered the benefits of healing the past wounds of personal trauma. In 2020, she completed the 300-hour Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Certification (TCTSY-F) at the Center for Trauma and Embodiment in Boston, MA. She offers an equitable, inclusive, integrative health, and holistic approach to her yoga classes. She provides nursing support and trauma sensitive yoga to private clients through the Milwaukee County Comprehensive Community Services program. She facilitates private, group, and corporate classes that are client centered with a focus on the practice of self-care. Her intention is to assist individuals with identifying, developing, and practicing what mind, body, and spiritual wholeness means to them.
